ZEE5, India's largest indigenous video streaming platform has dropped its latest original film "Rautu Ka Raaz" starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Produced by Zee Studios and Phat Fish Records, the film follows the investigation of a murder in the picturesque village of Rautu Ki Beli in Uttarakhand, promising a unique blend of suspense and humor.


This marks the reunion of ZEE5, Zee Studios and Nawazuddin Siddiqui following the success of their previous collaboration, "Haddi", which was released on the platform last year. Hyderabad, in particular, contributed the third highest viewership for "Haddi", indicating the immense popularity of the actor.  


"Rautu Ka Raaz" centers around the mysterious death of a warden at a blind school, which disrupts the quiet village after fifteen years of peace. SHO Deepak Negi (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and his team, which includes Inspector Dimri (Rajesh Kumar), join this unusual investigation, and explore the case with a strange camaraderie.


Directed by Anand Surapur, the film received rave reviews during its gala premiere at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) last year. It is now available for streaming exclusively on ZEE5.
