In October 2021, the series was announced on SonyLIV. The makers of the series organized a muhurta puja. Trisha Krishnan was in the lead role. Principal photography for the series began in mid-October 2021. In April 2022, Indrajith Sukumaran was confirmed to be part of the cast in the lead role.
